Private Chalet - Megève, France

This scenic two-level chalet stands in the heart of the French Alps, in Megève, a picturesque town with retro charm that is wonderful at any time of year, but is definitely at its best in the winter season.

Our partner Innovatherm-Le Showroom took care of the interior design of all the bathrooms, as well as the installation of the products and plumbing, giving the Client a complete turnkey project.

MOMA Design made in two tranches the entirety of the Corian washbasin tops, embedded in completely custom-made furniture, designed according to the Architect’s drawing.

The peculiarity of these pieces of furniture, composed of drawers and open compartments, is that they are constructed using only reclaimed wood, left unrefined to match the rest of the wooden elements of the house. This is an extremely delicate material, which has imperfections and cracks, as well as knots and broken veins. However, the end result repays all the effort: the furniture is impressive, in perfect harmony with the nature of the surroundings.
